Hand is still messed up but at least now I know what it really is...
its permanent but minor.. it may be painful at times but people usually don't get it fixed...
I guess its almost cosmically funny that an artist would slip in soda and damage his art tool

Oh dang, ligaments actually torn clear off... has too much time gone by to reattach them? Or more so just a really complicated procedure/expensive/potentially risky? That's unfortunate...
To some extent maybe you can train other surrounding muscles to make up for the missing ligaments too. I've no idea how everything connects in a hand, but it seems to work somewhat for other body parts. My big bro for example tore some ligaments around a knee some years back, and though he still has to wear some kind of protection if he wants to do a sport that involves jumps/sideway kind of movements, it seems like the body's somewhat adapted as to hold the knee in place better overall.
Cynthia Rothrock too, I don't remember the details but she tore a bundle, and never got them fixed, they just kept filming, crazy old HK action cinema days...
Anyway I do hope you can do something about yours, if it's possible...

form what was explained a surgery might compromise movement as there isn't enough blood in the wrist to heal it ..
I cant hold myself in a pushup yet and if i draw i feel it for awhile after but I'm able to live okay..
i have to constantly where a brace if i do anything with it but im okay with that as i don't care about appearance much
the hand is a bunch of wires and i have cut like 3
i think it will be okay but it gets really sore

Three sounds like a lot yeah... first time you mentioned this I didn't get the impression it was this serious a thing, life-impacting man, sorry to hear it's this bad...

its okay man ... i just hope rock climbing is still in my future XD but im just glad i can still move it at this point

Haha I hear some people actually do do such feats. XD There's probably some one-armed rock climber out there too, or armless entirely, or legless... not to compare here but it does seem like just about anything's possible if you just have the tenacity for it; keep your spirit up. Humans are so adaptable.

Not sure how the future looks for someone with missing hand ligaments but I'm hopeful that ill learn to live with it in a way that i can continue making art..
